Job Description
As a Provider Licensing and Enrollment Specialist at Blue Circle Health, your main job is to help healthcare providers get the correct licenses and enroll them in programs like Medicare and Medicaid. You will work with doctors, nurse practitioners, social workers, dietitians, and other healthcare providers to make sure they are properly licensed and enrolled. This job is very important because it ensures that healthcare providers can give the best care to their patients.
You will also work with other teams inside the company, like IT and clinical staff, and with outside agencies, like government offices, to make sure everything is done right. You will help make sure healthcare providers meet the rules for licensing and enrollment, so they can focus on caring for people with Type 1 Diabetes.

Core Responsibilities: As a Provider Licensing and Enrollment Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Licensing Applications: You will help with the licensing applications for healthcare providers like doctors, nurse practitioners, and dietitians. This includes applying for new licenses and renewing them.
- Enrollment & Revalidation: You will help enroll healthcare providers in Medicare and Medicaid programs and make sure they stay in the programs by renewing their status when necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: You will make sure the work you do follows all the rules and regulations for healthcare licenses and programs. You’ll stay updated with changes in the rules to ensure everything is correct.
- Collaboration: You will work with other teams inside the company like IT, clinical staff, and administration. You will also communicate with external groups like licensing boards and government agencies to get everything done.
- Maintain Records: You will keep careful and accurate records of all licensing and enrollment processes for healthcare providers. This is important to make sure everything is correct and to fix any problems that come up.
- Performance Improvement: You will look for ways to improve how the licensing and enrollment processes work. You’ll suggest and make changes to make things run more smoothly.
Requirements: To do this job, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3 years of experience in healthcare licensing, credentialing, or provider enrollments.
- Has experience with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment, or similar healthcare programs.
- Understands healthcare regulations and licensing rules.
- Can keep records organized and accurate.
- Has good communication skills, both written and spoken, to talk with other team members and outside agencies.
- Can work independently and make decisions on their own but knows when to ask for help.
- Can adapt to changes in rules and priorities.
- Has a private, quiet home office space to work remotely.

Blue Circle Health Inc. is a nonprofit organization that helps people with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), a condition where the body can’t make insulin. Over 2 million people in the U.S. live with Type 1 Diabetes, and they need special care to manage their condition. At Blue Circle Health, we provide virtual care, education, and support to people with T1D, and we do this at no cost to them.
Our mission is to help people with T1D learn how to manage their health. We provide medical care, coaching, counseling, and help with insurance. We also work with other healthcare systems and clinics to reach as many people with T1D as possible. Our goal is to show that the work we do for people with Type 1 Diabetes can also help other people with long-term health conditions.
