Job Summary
As a Planning & Reporting Analyst, your main job will be to gather and study health information. You will look at data to find patterns and trends that help us improve our health programs. You will also write reports that explain what the data means, so everyone can understand how we are doing in our mission to keep the community healthy.
Responsibilities
Here are some of the things you will do as a Planning & Reporting Analyst:
- Collect Data: You will gather information from different sources, like surveys and health programs. This helps us see how well we are doing.
- Analyze Information: You will look at the data carefully to find important trends. This means figuring out what the numbers are telling us.
- Create Reports: You will write reports that summarize your findings. These reports help everyone understand the data and how it relates to our health programs.
- Work with Others: You will team up with other people in our organization to make sure we collect the right data and share it effectively.
- Evaluate Programs: You will help check how well our health programs are working by analyzing the data. This will help us improve and make better choices.
- Present Findings: Sometimes, you will share what you found with others. You will need to explain things in a way that everyone can understand.
- Keep Learning: You will look for new ways to improve how we collect and report data. This is important for our growth and effectiveness.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:
Required Skills
- Good with Numbers: You should be comfortable working with data and able to spot trends.
- Attention to Detail: It’s important to be precise and make sure the information is correct.
- Communication: You need to explain your findings in simple language, so everyone can understand.
- Problem-Solving: You should be able to think of solutions when you face challenges.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with computer programs, especially for data analysis like Excel, is important.
Preferred Skills
- Interest in Public Health: Knowing about public health can be a big help. Understanding how health programs work is a plus.
- Team Player: You should enjoy working with others and contributing to a positive team environment.
Education and Experience
- You need to have a bachelor’s degree in public health, data analysis, statistics, or a similar area.
- Having at least 2 years of experience working with data or in a similar job is great. If you have worked in public health before, that’s even better!
