Job Summary
As the Coordinator, Mobile Expansion, you will lead our mobile health services. This means you will help us reach out to people in different areas and make sure they know about the healthcare we offer. You will work closely with other team members and community partners to help more people get the care they need. Your role is very important, and you will be a key part of our mission to improve health in our area.
Responsibilities
In your job, you will have many important tasks, such as:
Planning and Organizing
- Create plans to make our mobile health services better.
- Work with local groups and healthcare providers to find out where people need help.
- Schedule health events and outreach activities to reach more people.
Managing Programs
- Check how well our mobile health programs are working.
- Gather information to understand community health needs.
- Write reports to share the results of our programs with others.
Engaging with the Community
- Build good relationships with community partners.
- Tell people about the mobile health services available to them.
- Organize fun workshops and events to teach the community about healthy living.
Leading the Team
- Help train and support other team members and volunteers.
- Create a positive and friendly team environment.
- Solve any problems that come up in the program.
Qualifications
To do well in this job, you should have:
Required Skills
- Great organization skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills to talk with team members and the community.
- Basic computer skills, like using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work well alone and with a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in health programs or community services.
- Knowledge about mobile health services and how to reach people.
- Understanding of public health topics.
- Speaking another language, like Spanish, is a plus!
Education and Experience
- You need to have a Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, social sciences, or a similar field.
- It helps to have at least two years of experience in a job that involves managing programs or working with the community.
Location
This job is in Harris County, Houston, Texas. You will travel around the area to meet the needs of our mobile health program.
