Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Public Health Services, you will be very important in taking care of patients. You will check on their health, create plans to help them get better, and give treatments to help them feel good. Responsibilities
As an RN, your job will include:
- Checking Patients: You will look at patients’ health by measuring their temperature, heart rate, and asking about their health history.

- Giving Treatments: You will help with treatments, like giving medicines and making sure patients follow their care plans.

Education and Experience
- Education: You need to have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas. You must have either an associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
- Experience: It’s good to have at least two years of experience working in a hospital or health care setting. Experience in public health or community health nursing is a plus.
