Job Summary
As a Client Service Specialist, you will be an important part of our team. Your main job will be to help clients find the health services they need. You will talk to people, listen to their needs, and help them understand what services are available. You will be the friendly face that clients see when they come to us for help.
Responsibilities
In your job as a Client Service Specialist, you will have several important tasks to do every day:
- Help Clients: Greet clients with a smile and help them understand the services we offer. Make them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Share Information: Tell clients about the different health programs and services we have. Make sure they know how to get the help they need.
- Coordinate Services: Work with other team members to set up appointments and help clients get the services they need. Follow up with them to make sure they are getting the support they require.
- Keep Records: Write down important information about clients and the services they receive. This helps us keep track of everything.
- Community Events: Join us at community events to talk about our health services and teach people about health topics.
- Solve Problems: Listen to any questions or concerns clients may have. Help them find solutions and make sure they are satisfied.
- Work with the Team: Collaborate with your coworkers to improve our services and make clients’ experiences better.
Qualifications
To do this job well, you will need some important skills and qualities:
Required Skills
- Good Communication: You need to be able to talk and write clearly so that clients understand what you say. Being friendly and polite is very important.
- Customer Service: A positive attitude and a desire to help others are crucial. You should be patient and caring when talking to clients.
- Organizational Skills: You must be good at keeping things organized and managing your time well. Being detail-oriented will help you do this.
- Problem-Solving: You should be able to think on your feet and find solutions to problems that may come up.
- Basic Computer Skills: You should know how to use a computer for writing and keeping records.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual Abilities: If you speak another language, especially Spanish, that will be helpful. It will allow you to connect with more clients.
- Healthcare Experience: If you have worked in healthcare or customer service before, that would be a plus. However, we welcome anyone who is eager to learn!
Education and Experience
- Education: You need to have a high school diploma or equivalent. If you have extra training in healthcare or customer service, that’s great!
- Experience: It would be helpful if you have experience in customer service or healthcare, but it’s not required. We are looking for people who are excited to help others.

This job is located in Harris County, Houston, Texas. You will work in a friendly community where you can help people every day.
