Job Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) working with TB patients, you will be an important part of our healthcare team. Your main job will be to help patients manage their condition and make sure they get the right treatment. You will also teach patients and their families about TB, helping them understand how to take care of themselves. This position allows you to make a positive impact on people’s lives every day.
Responsibilities
In this job, you will have many important responsibilities:
- Taking Care of Patients: You will provide nursing care to patients with tuberculosis. This includes checking their vital signs and seeing how they feel.
- Giving Medications: You will give patients the medicines they need according to the doctor’s instructions.
- Teaching Patients: You will explain to patients and their families what tuberculosis is and how to treat it. You will help them understand what they need to do to stay healthy.
- Keeping Records: You will write down important information about the patients, like their symptoms and treatments, to keep track of their care.
- Working with Others: You will work with doctors and other nurses to create care plans for each patient.
- Providing Support: You will listen to patients and offer them support and encouragement during their treatment.
- Community Education: You may help teach the community about tuberculosis and how to stay healthy.
