Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) who focuses on TB, you will help patients who have this illness. Your job is to care for them, support them, and teach them about their health. You will work with doctors and other nurses to make sure patients get the right treatment and feel better.
Responsibilities
In your job as a Registered Nurse (RN) for TB care, you will do the following:
- Check on Patients: You will talk to patients and check how they are feeling. This helps you understand what kind of care they need.
- Plan Care: You will work with doctors and other health workers to create a care plan for each patient. This plan will help patients get better.
- Teach Patients: You will explain to patients and their families about TB. You will teach them how to take their medicine and why it is important to follow the doctor’s advice.
- Keep Records: You will write down what you see when you check on patients. This is important for keeping track of their health.
- Support Patients: Sometimes, patients might feel scared or worried. You will be there to listen to them and give them support.
- Community Work: You might also help in the community by sharing information about TB and how to prevent it. This could include going to schools or community centers to talk to people.
