Job Summary: What You’ll Do as a Certified Nurse Assistant
As a Certified Nurse Assistant, you’ll support patients with daily activities and help ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. You’ll work closely with registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to deliver excellent care.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Help patients stay comfortable and safe in their environment
Nurse Support
- Follow care plans created by RNs and LPNs
- Record and report care activities and any changes in patient conditions
- Help with tasks like setting up equipment and preparing patients for treatment
Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff about patient needs
- Support the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications for Certified Nurse Assistant Jobs
