Job Description
Do you enjoy helping kids and teens? Are you passionate about mental health? Bend Health is looking for a Behavioral Health Coach to join our team. In this role, you will support children and teenagers who are dealing with mental health challenges. You will help them learn how to manage their feelings, reduce stress, and find ways to cope with anxiety.
This is a 100% remote position meaning you can work from home, as long as you are located in the United States. You will work with a team of doctors, therapists, and other experts to support your clients. - Job Type: Contract
- Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3 PM – 8 PM Pacific Time, plus some availability on Saturdays
- Work Setting: Telehealth (Remote)
- Location: U.S. (must be based in the United States)
- Required Certification: ICF Coaching Certification or NBC-HWC (unlicensed individuals are welcome to apply)
What You’ll Do
As a Behavioral Health Coach at Bend Health, you will:
- Help Kids and Teens: You will use proven methods to help kids and teens reach their mental health goals. You will teach them how to handle their emotions, reduce stress, and improve their mental well-being.
- Work with a Team: You will work closely with other experts like therapists, doctors, nurses, and case managers. Together, you will help your clients feel better and improve their lives.
- Flexible Hours: You can work from anywhere in the United States. However, you must be available during peak hours (Monday to Friday, 3 PM – 8 PM Pacific Time) and some Saturdays.
- Provide Support and Care: You will guide your clients through activities that help them manage their emotions and behavior. You will use techniques based on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other effective methods.
- Stay Organized: You will need to keep track of appointments and make sure you finish your work on time, including writing notes after each session.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has Coaching Certification: You need to have either ICF Coaching Certification or NBC-HWC (unlicensed individuals can apply too).
- Has a Background in Mental Health (Preferred): If you have experience in mental health or have worked with children or teens, that’s a big plus!
- Can Work in Telehealth: You should be comfortable using video calls and other online tools to communicate with clients.
- Is Organized and Flexible: Bend Health is always changing, and we need someone who can keep up with changes and stay organized.
- Has a Warm, Friendly Personality: You should enjoy working with kids and teens and have the ability to make them feel comfortable and supported.
- Cares About Mental Health: Most importantly, you should be passionate about helping kids and families with their mental health needs.
