Job Summary
As the Specialist, Stakeholder Engagement, you will talk to different people and organizations to tell them about our mobile health services. Your job will be to make sure everyone knows about the health programs we offer and how they can help the community. You will be like a bridge connecting us to the people who need our help the most!
Responsibilities
In this job, you will have several important tasks:
- Building Relationships: You will meet and talk with community leaders and other groups to share information about our health programs. It’s important to create good friendships with them!
- Outreach and Engagement: You will help us reach out to different communities. This means finding ways to tell people about our mobile health services so they can use them.
- Feedback Collection: You will ask people how they feel about our programs. This will help us know what is working well and what we can make better.
- Collaboration: You will work with other teams in our organization to make sure our health services fit what the community needs.
- Event Coordination: You will help organize community events where people can learn more about our services. This is a great way to meet people and share information!
- Reporting: You will write reports about what you do and what you learn from talking to people. This helps everyone see how our programs are helping.
- Training and Support: You may also help train others about our mobile health services so they can assist in telling the community about them.
Qualifications
Required Skills
To do this job well, you should have these skills:
- Good Communication: You need to talk and write clearly so everyone understands you.
- Friendly Personality: You should be good at making friends and building trust with different people.
- Organizational Skills: You should be able to keep track of many tasks and manage your time well.
- Problem-Solving: Sometimes things don’t go as planned. You should be able to think of new ideas to fix problems.
- Understanding Different Cultures: It’s important to respect and understand people from different backgrounds.
Preferred Skills
These skills are not required but would be helpful:
- Knowledge of Public Health: Knowing about health programs and how they work is a plus.
- Data Analysis: If you can look at information and understand it, that would be great!
- Technology Skills: Being comfortable with using computers and social media is helpful for outreach.
Education and Experience
To apply for this job, you should have:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in a related field, like Public Health, Social Work, or Community Development.
- Experience: At least two years of experience working with communities and helping with outreach programs is preferred.
Location
This job is located in Harris County, Houston, Texas. You might need to travel around the county sometimes to meet with different groups and attend events.
