Job Summary
As a Mobile Dental Hygienist, your main job will be to travel around and provide dental care to people who may not be able to visit a dentist’s office. You will help clean their teeth, teach them how to take care of their mouths, and make sure they understand the importance of good oral hygiene. Your work will help many people have healthier smiles!
Responsibilities
In your job, you will have many important tasks to do:
- Clean Teeth: You will clean patients’ teeth and help remove any plaque or tartar.
- Teach Patients: You will explain to patients how to take care of their teeth and why it’s important to brush and floss.
- Keep Records: You will write down what you did during each visit and keep track of patients’ dental health.
- Work with Others: You will work closely with dentists and other health workers to make sure everyone gets the best care possible.
- Community Events: You may also attend local events to talk to people about dental health and provide basic care.
- Care for Equipment: You will make sure all your dental tools are clean and ready to use.
