Job Details
What You Will Do:
- Take CT Scans: You will use a CT scanner to take pictures of patients’ insides. This helps doctors figure out what’s wrong with them.
- Make Sure Patients Are Safe: You will follow safety rules to keep patients safe while using the CT scanner.
- Help Patients: You will talk to patients, explain what will happen during the CT scan, and make them feel comfortable.
- Learn New Things: You will keep learning about new types of CT scans and technology so that you stay up to date with the latest equipment.
- Work with a Team: You will work with doctors and nurses to make sure the images you take help with patient care.
What You Need:
- ARRT Certification: You need to have an ARRT (R) certification. This shows that you know how to use imaging machines safely and correctly.
- Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Licensure: You must be licensed by the Ohio Department of Health to work as a CT technologist in Ohio.
- BLS Certification: You need to have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If you don’t have it, you can get it within 30 days after you start the job.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with CT Imaging: It’s helpful if you have worked with CT scanners before or have trained in CT imaging.
- Tech Skills: You should be comfortable learning and using new technology and equipment.
