Job Summary
As a Community Health Worker, you will help connect people in your community with health services. Your main job will be to help people learn about their health, find the right care, and support them in making healthy choices. You will work with many different people and help them understand how to take care of themselves and their families.
Responsibilities
As a Community Health Worker, you will have many important tasks, including:
- Talking to People: You will talk to people in the community to help them understand the health services available to them.
- Teaching: You will provide information on important health topics, such as nutrition, exercise, and how to prevent diseases.
- Helping Find Services: If someone needs medical care or other services, you will help them find the right resources.
- Advocating for Others: You will speak up for people in your community, making sure their health needs are heard.
- Collecting Information: You may gather information about health needs in the community to help improve our services.
- Working Together: You will work with other health professionals and community groups to make sure people get the help they need.
Qualifications
To become a Community Health Worker, you should have the following skills:

Education and Experience
