Job Summary
The Health Services Coordinator is responsible for helping people get the health services they need in our community. You will work with doctors, hospitals, and other organizations to ensure everyone knows about the health services available to them. Your job will also involve listening to the community’s health needs and helping create programs that support those needs. You will collect information to see how well these health programs are working and suggest ways to make them even better.
Responsibilities
In this job, you will have many important tasks. Here are some of the things you will do:
- Plan Programs: Create and manage health service programs that help the community.
- Community Outreach: Talk to people in the community and tell them about available health services.
- Collect Data: Gather information to understand how health programs are helping people and find areas for improvement.
- Secure Resources: Look for funding to support health programs and services.
- Train Staff: Help train other workers and volunteers who are involved in health services.
- Prepare Reports: Write reports to show how health programs are doing and what can be done better.
- Advocate for Health Needs: Speak up for the health needs of the community and work with other groups to address these needs.
- Collaborate: Work with health care providers and community groups to improve services.
- Help Create Policies: Assist in making rules and guidelines for delivering health services.

Education and Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Health Administration, or a similar field.
- At least two years of experience working in health services or community health is preferred. Experience with government or non-profit organizations is a plus.
