Job Summary
The Health Outreach Coordinator helps bring health information to the community. You will organize and run events like health fairs and workshops. You will also work with local leaders and health experts to make sure people know about health programs and services. The goal is to help people stay healthy and get the care they need.
In this job, you’ll travel around San Diego County to meet with people, share health information, and make sure everyone has access to the resources that can help them stay healthy.
Responsibilities
As a Health Outreach Coordinator, your job will include many important tasks. Here are the main things you will be doing:
- Teach people about health: You will organize events like health fairs, workshops, and meetings where people can learn about staying healthy. This could include teaching people how to eat well, exercise, and take care of their bodies.
- Build partnerships: You will work with local schools, healthcare providers, and other community groups to help spread health information. This will help you reach more people and make a bigger impact.
- Plan programs: You will help create health programs that meet the needs of different groups in the community. For example, you might help set up a program to teach people about managing stress or preventing diseases.
