Criminal Intelligence Analyst Full Time

Job Summary

As an Emergency Response Tactical Medic, you will work with the Sheriff’s Department in San Diego County. Your main job is to help people during emergencies, especially during dangerous situations. You will work with the police and other teams, giving medical care to anyone who needs it.

What You Will Do

As a Tactical Medic, here are some things you will do every day:

  1. Give Medical Help in Emergencies: If someone is hurt, you will help them right away.
  2. Work With the Police: You will help the police when they go to dangerous places, in case anyone needs medical care.
  3. Keep Medical Supplies Ready: Make sure all your medical tools are ready and in good shape.
  4. Help During Big Emergencies: Be ready to help during fires, floods, and other big problems.

This job can be tough because you might work at night, on weekends, or even on holidays. Emergencies can happen at any time, so you must always be ready to help.

What You Need to Apply

To be a good fit for this job, here’s what you need:

Skills You Must Have

  • Certification as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or Paramedic.
  • Experience in giving emergency medical help (such as working in an ambulance or emergency room).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Calm and Clear Thinking: Stay calm, even in scary situations.

Extra Skills That Will Help

  • Experience with Police or Military Teams: If you’ve worked with the police or military before, that’s a plus.
  • Extra Training in Tactical Medicine: If you know about Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), that’s helpful.
  • Understanding Emergency Protocols: Know what to do during dangerous situations.

  • High School Diploma: Required. But if you have a college degree in health sciences, that’s even better.
  • 2 to 4 Years of Experience as an EMT or Paramedic. If you’ve worked in police or military settings, that’s a plus.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS are needed. Extra tactical medicine certifications are helpful.

Location: San Diego County

This job is in San Diego County. You will travel to different places within the county to help people during emergencies. You must be able to reach emergency locations quickly.
